Half-noise at half-light, Intersessions was a collaborative event, made up by the every issue and equipment brought by the local and international guests. An experimental music and community building project that ran bi-monthly between 2013-2016 in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The proposal was to use musical improvisation sessions to realize interdisciplinary exchange between languages and agents navigating the music and experimental arts circuit. The title follows the “intersection” between trajectories of local and international artists in transit. The meetings were “sessions” focused on improvisational experimentation with hybrid technologies involved in visual-acoustic composition.
